I refer to the Minister for Tourism's visit, accompanied by Mr Roger Federer, to Cervantes on Thursday, 27 December 2018, and I ask: (a) how did the Minister and Mr Federer travel to Cervantes; (b) who provided the commercial travel services utilised by the Minister and Mr Federer; (c) what was the cost of the commercial travel services provided; and (d) what was the total cost for engaging Mr Federer to visit Cervantes and other related activities whilst in Western Australia?

(a) The Minister was driven in his WA Government Fleet vehicle. Mr Federer was transported via helicopter.
(b) Minister: not applicable; Mr Federer: Corsaire Aviation Services.
(c) $2,681.82 (ex GST) for the helicopter service.
(d) Payment was made by Tennis Australia for Mr Federer to appear at the Hopman Cup and Tourism Western Australia contributed to this through its sponsorship arrangement with Tennis Australia. As part of Mr Federer’s attendance at the Hopman Cup he was required to undertake destination PR activities to promote Western Australia. No specific fee was paid for Mr Federer to visit Cervantes or other related activities.
