In relation to multicultural arts activities and projects funded by the Department for Culture and the Arts (DCA), I ask:
(a) what dedicated multicultural arts organisations and events are currently funded by DCA;
(b) what representations has the Minister had directly from the Minister for Multicultural Interests, since September 2008, requesting that DCA fund multicultural events and organisations; and
(c) will the Minister table any correspondence relating to (b); and
(i) if not, why not?

(a) Kulcha Multicultural Arts of WA Inc receives core funding from the Department of Culture and the arts
The Bulgarian Association 'Rodina' Inc has received project funding through the Community Arts Network WA from the DCA funded 'Catalyst' Program, to conduct classes for children aged 5 to 15 to coach them how to perform traditional Bulgarian dances, to sing traditional songs, and to present in front of parents, friends and the multicultural community of WA at various events, including Slavonic Literature Day and Unification Day (remembering the unification of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia).
