press statement titled ''Cook Government examining best early education
options'' dated 21 December 2023, and the statement —
The Cook Government is investing
$940,000 to examine options to enhance non-compulsory early learning in Western
Australia.
(1) What are the terms of reference
for this examination of options?
(2) Has Deloitte completed its
report?
(3) If yes to (2), will the
minister table a copy of the report; and, if not, why not?
(4) If no to (2), when is the
report expected to be completed?

government is working nationally on a shared vision for early childhood
education and care. Deloitte Access Economics has informed our contribution to
this work, including through examining options to enhance non-compulsory early
learning in WA.

(3) This work is
cabinet-in-confidence and will not be tabled.
(4) Not applicable.
