In respect to the review of workers’ compensation entitlements for over 65s, I ask:
(a) as this review was announced by the previous Minister in March 2009, nearly two years ago, when is the review expected to be completed; and
(b) does the review take into consideration the Federal Government’s increase for the Old Age Pension to 67 from 65?

(a) The Legislative Review report was released in April 2010. The finalisation of amendments to the
Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981
is a matter of priority. It is anticipated a bill will be introduced into Parliament in the first half of 2011.
(b) The Government proposes to abolish all age limits in relation to workers' compensation entitlements.
