FREMANTLE
HOSPITAL — BULK-BILLING GENERAL PRACTICE
133. Mr R.H. COOK to the Minister for Health:
I have a supplementary question. Given that this is one of
the few bulk-billing practices in Fremantle and that it has more than 20 000
patients' records, what does the minister estimate will be the increase
in presentations to the emergency department at Fremantle Hospital once this
practice is closed?

AnswerView source ↗

The Deputy Leader of the Opposition is making a lot of
assumptions. I think the supplementary question really does not match the
original question. The end question was about how many extra patients Fremantle
Hospital will get when the practice closes. I have just made it clear that that
is not our intention; our intention is to keep people working in that practice.
So the question is superfluous.
