1245. Hon RICK MAZZA to the minister representing the
Minister for Emergency Services:
With summer beginning on Saturday
and the bushfire season imminent, can the minister advise whether there are
plans to —
(a) reduce the number of volunteer
emergency services;
(b) remove, combine or merge the State Emergency
Service with any other existing or future emergency service;
(c) remove,
combine or merge the volunteer fire and rescue services with any other existing
or future emergency service;
(d) remove,
combine or merge the volunteer marine rescue services with any other existing
or future emergency service;
(e) remove,
combine or merge the volunteer fire and emergency services with any other
existing or future emergency service; and
(f) remove,
combine or merge the volunteer bush fire services with any other existing or
future emergency service?
