Minister for Commerce:
I refer to the closure of bank
branches.
(1) Does the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation
and Safety keep a record of the number of bank branch openings and
closures in Western Australia?
(2) If yes to
(1), please detail the number of bank branch closures in regional WA for 2020,
2021 and 2022 to date.
(3) Please table
any correspondence that the minister or his department has had with the current
federal Treasurer on this issue.
