DERBY FAMILY HEALING
CENTRE
1498. Hon ROBIN CHAPPLE to the minister representing the
Minister for Housing:
I
refer to ongoing correspondence with Marnin Bowa Dumbara Aboriginal Corporation
about the relocation of the Derby Family Healing Centre, which provides a family
and domestic violence service, to the location of 58–60 Villiers
Street, Derby.
(1) Does the
minister continue to support the work of the Derby Family Healing Centre?
(2) If yes, is
the Villiers Street property vastly superior to the current operating location?
(3) How long have
negotiations been going on about the relocation?
(4) When does the
minister expect the relocation will be enabled?
(5) If the
relocation will not be in a timely fashion, why not?
