(3) Yes, demolition has been completed.
(a) Tenders are to be called for the construction of six two bedroom aged pensioner units. A further three units are planned for at a later date and will proceed when proposed changes to the Town Planning Scheme allow this.
(b) Not applicable.
(4) In 2007/2008, the Department commenced construction or purchased 45 units of public housing in the Collie-Preston electorate.
In 2008/2009, the Department has programmed nine units in the Collie-Preston electorate. Three units are already under construction and tenders will be called shortly for the remaining six units.
The program for Collie-Preston for 2009/2010 will be finalised following the State budget process.
