281. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Ports:
I refer to the current financial
assistance arrangements and commercial agreements for the export of iron ore
through the port of Esperance.
(1) Can the
minister please table a summary of all contracts, licences and leases related
to the current export of iron ore through the port, including the expiration
date for each of these agreements?
(2) What is the total amount of financial assistance
that has been provided by the state government to the current exporter
of iron ore through the port up to 31 March 2022?
(3) Has the state government commenced any
negotiations for the provision of financial assistance to the current iron ore exporter beyond the current arrangement?
(4) If yes to (3), what type of
assistance is being considered?
