1097. Hon DIANE EVERS to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to Lake Mullocullup, also referred to as Warriup
swamp, and the gazettal of water skiing.
(1) Will the
Department of Transport regularly monitor this lake for compliance with the
Navigable Waters Regulations 1958 and the additional conditions imposed at
gazettal?
(2) If yes to
(1), how often?
(3) If no to
(1), why not?

(1) Yes.
(2) Department of Transport marine inspectors from the
Albany regional office aim to conduct a monthly site visit to Lake
Mullocullup. Regional officers will also respond to and investigate any reports
of noncompliance.
