PUBLIC SECTOR RECRUITMENT FREEZE — COMMISSIONER
FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
359. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Attorney
General:
I am sorry that this question has a rather
long preamble but I am just here to help.
I refer to the answer to question
without notice 24 asked on 17 February 2016 by Hon Sue Ellery and subsequent
advice in the answer to question without notice 112 asked by me on 24 February
2016 that questions about appendix A of tabled paper 3834 should be addressed
to individual ministers, and to the Attorney General's answer on 24 March
2016 to question without notice 260 asked by me the previous day when he said
that he could not answer the question about how many requests for approval for
exemptions from the public sector recruitment freeze had been lodged by the
Attorney General for each of the general government agencies in his portfolios
until he had finalised his response to a question on notice asked in the other
place.
(1) How many
requests for approval for exemptions from the public sector recruitment freeze
have been lodged by the Attorney General for the Commissioner for Children and
Young People since the freeze began on 21 December 2015?
(2) For each
exemption request, when was it lodged, when was it granted and what is the
position title and salary?
The
PRESIDENT : I call the
Attorney General to answer that not-so-concise question.
