FARINA to the minister representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the Liberals' election commitment to
invest $15 million to build a headquarters for the new WA parks authority,
including a dedicated world-class scientific research facility, at Turkey Point
in Bunbury.
(1) How much
funding has been allocated in the 2013–14 state budget to deliver this
election commitment?
(2) Where in the budget papers are the project and its
funding allocation referenced?
(3) How much
funding is in the 2013–14 state budget forward estimates for the
project and where is this referenced in the budget papers?

(1)–(3) Timing
and implementation plans for budget measures are currently being determined
between ministers and agencies. When completed, the government will make
detailed announcements. It should also be noted that members will have
significant opportunity to seek this information during estimates hearings.
