(a) The Department of Agriculture and Food WA employed an individual to manage the Department's biosecurity compliance and investigations project to coordinate the preparation on prosecutions of non-compliance.

Mid West Development Commission (MWDC):
1) Yes
a) Accounting firm performing MWDC's annual internal audit changed in 2006 from Bentleys MRI (formerly Hall Chadwick) to Midwest Accounting Services. The change resulted from Bentleys MRI being appointed by the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) to undertake work on the external audit of the Commission for OAG. Bentleys had to discontinue its internal audit role for MWDC due to a potential conflict of interest.
