MRWA has also taken the opportunity presented by the initiation of NMR Project works to initiate or bring forward a number of additional works that are not part of the NMR Project to minimise the cost of and disruption from those additional works. The cost of those additional works, to which Main Roads is contributing $5.383 million, is not part of the NMR Project budget. (2) The value of works undertaken by MRWA to date as a result of or as part of the NMR Project is $137.888 million and is included in PTA's budget for the NMR Project. MRWA has also funded additional works to the value of $1.671 million to date. (3) The estimated value of future works to be undertaken by MRWA as a result of or as part of the NMR Project is $8.593 million and is included in PTA's budget for the NMR Project. MRWA will also contribute funds for additional works to an estimated value of $3.712 million. (4)MRWA has not and will not pay for works undertaken as part of the scope of the NMR Project. MRWA has committed funds totalling $5.383 million towards additional works initiated or brought forward to take advantage of the NMR Project that are not part of the scope of the NMR Project.
