TAB ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN — ''WE'VE
UPPED OUR GAME''
624. Mr M.P. MURRAY to the
Premier:
I have a supplementary question. What has the Premier got to
hide by forcing this information to be obtained through the freedom of
information process? Yesterday, the Premier told me to take two steps over
there to ask the Minister for Racing and Gaming when the minister has already
told me to use the FOI process.

As was pointed out yesterday, the member needs to actually
ask the question of the minister responsible. Because the Leader of the
Opposition did not —
Mr M. McGowan : We
asked in the upper house.
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
The minister is in this house; he is not in the upper house. There he is—Tuck!
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Member for Willagee, I call you to order for the first time. I want to hear the
Premier.
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
As a footballer, the Minister for Racing and Gaming, Tuck Waldron, was always
elusive but even he could not be so elusive as to be in here and the upper
house at the same time! If the member wants more detailed information, he can
use FOI or, rather than spend $30 to do that, I suggest the member puts a
question on notice to seek some information.
