I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question and provide the following answer on behalf of the
Leader of the House representing the Minister for Lands.

is currently undertaking initial due diligence investigations into the ECU Mt
Lawley site, which are required to inform the work of the government steering
committee and potential future uses of the site.
Noting
the site is unlikely to be made available for some years, these initial
investigations, once completed , will support the future meetings of the
government steering committee and associated working groups.
