(2) The auditing process has revealed that approximately 60% of the organic waste stream is taken to the Atlas property in Calingiri. (3) The Atlas facility at Calingiri is licensed for the composting of organic waste, which includes paper and cardboard. (4) The licence was first issued on 10 November 1998. (5) The City of Stirling is entitled to claim the Resource Recovery Rebate Scheme payment in respect to all of its recycling activities. The Western Australian Local Government Association, which processes the rebate claims, has advised that the Secondary Resource Recovery plant was not operating during the last rebate period which has been processed, so the amount to be paid to the City of Stirling does not include any amount for material being processed at Calingiri. The claim with respect to the current period is still being processed, and no recommendation for payment has yet been made. (6) Answered by (5).
