NURSES AND MIDWIVES — COST-OF-LIVING PAYMENT
374. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Industrial Relations:
I refer to the three per cent pay
increase and $3 000 cost-of-living payment to public sector workers.
(1) Given that
nurses and midwives working for the Department of Justice are on the Department
of Justice's Registered Nurses and Enrolled (Mental Health) Nurses
(ANF) Industrial Agreement 2020, are they still entitled to the cost-of-living
payment and three per cent pay increase, given that they are still employed by
the public sector?
(2) If yes to (1), when are they
expected to receive it?
(3) If there is no immediate time
line for when they are to receive it, will it be this year?
