BUDGET 2014–15 — ROYALTY REVIEW
368. Mr W.J. JOHNSTON to the
Minister for Mines and Petroleum:
I have a supplementary question. Is the minister aware that
on page 518 of volume 2 of budget paper No 2, the details of administered
transactions for the Department of Mines and Petroleum—the ministerXXX ###XXXs department—include a figure of
$560.2 million in royalties arising from the royalty review? How did that
figure get there?

I am aware that Treasury has put some figures in the forward
estimates in relation to a possible outcome of the review. They are TreasuryXXX ###XXXs figures; they are not my figures.
