Minister for Police:

refer to the $7.7 million additional funding for the family and domestic
violence response teams in the 2022–23 budget .
(1) How much of the $7.7 million
has been spent to date?
(2) How many
additional staff have been employed as a result of this funding increase and
what is their specific role?
(3) How has the coordinated
response service been extended; and, if it has not, why not?

Opposition for some notice of the question. The following answer has been
provided to me by the Minister for Police.
(1)–(3) The funding allocation that the honourable member
is referencing in the 2022–23 budget was allocated to the Departments
of Justice and Communities towards the enhanced family and domestic violence
response team.
