I refer the minister to his answer to my question about the proposed Dampier swimming pool, in which he advised that the Shire of Roebourne had not made an application for funding under the CSRFF program. (1) How many other grants will be made under the CSRFF for projects that are not the subject of an application? (2) Will it be necessary for the Shire of Roebourne to make an application in order to access the CSRFF fund and, if not, why not? (3) In the event that the shire does not make an application or decides not to support the project, will the Government meet the total cost of the pool? Hon G.T. GIFFARD

I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) None. To be eligible for CSRFF support, an incorporated community group or local government must submit an application for funding. (2) Yes. (3) The Government’s election commitment was for a $1 million contribution. Anything beyond that would require further discussion.
