I refer to child mental health services in the South West Region, and ask -
(1) For 2008 and 2009, how many children aged zero to four years, living in the South West region were identified by South West community child health clinics, to be suffering from mental health problems?
(2) For each 2008 and 2009, how many of the children identified in (1) were diagnosed as having severe symptoms of mental illness?
(3) For each of 2008 and 2009, how many children identified in (2) were admitted for treatment to South West Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (SW CAMHS)?
(4) For each 2008 and 2009, how many of the children identified in (1) were diagnosed as having mild to moderate symptoms of mental illness?
(5) For each of 2008 and 2009, how many children identified in (4) were admitted for treatment to SW CAMHS?
(6) For each of 2008 and 2009, of the children identified in (4), and not admitted to SW CAMHS, -
(a) what treatment was provided for the children; and
(b) who undertook the treatment?
(7) For each of 2008 and 2009, of the children identified in (1), how many presented with symptoms of drug or alcohol abuse?
(8) For each of 2008 and 2009, of the children identified in (7), -
(a) what treatment was provided for these children; and
(b) who undertook the treatment?
(9) What specialist training do community child health nurses have to identify symptoms of mental illness?
(10) Who undertakes the diagnoses of children presenting with symptoms of mental illness at community child health clinics in the South West Region?
(11) In relation to community child health clinics located in the South West Region, please state, -
(a) the location of each clinic; and
(b) the number of FTEs at each clinic as at, -
(i) 1 October 2008;
(ii) 1 October 2009; and
(iii) 1 October 2010?
(12) In relation to (11)(b), -
(a) please state the position title and qualifications, of each person employed at each clinic; and
(b) the number of assessments undertaken at each clinic in each of the years, -
(i) 2008;
(ii) 2009; and
