some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(2) There have been a number of discussions between
Main Roads and the federal Department of Infrastructure , Transport,
Cities and Regional Development. Additionally, the Minister for Transport has
recently written to the federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and
Regional Development regarding the duplication of Bussell Highway. The minister
has also raised this matter directly with the shadow transport spokesperson in
the Legislative Assembly chamber.
