(e) FESA intends to review its LPG policy, for non emergency response vehicles, in line with the new  'WA Government Fleet Policy and Guidelines'.

WA Police have a business requirement to retain six-cylinder vehicles for operational purposes. Police continually review its fleet requirements to identify opportunities to utilise four-cylinder and alternative fuel vehicles.
(e) WA Police have evaluated, technically tested and costed a range of alternative fuel vehicles (including LPG and four-cylinder vehicles) to establish a list of vehicles that could be utilised to achieve cost and environmental impact savings. The LPG vehicles available on the State Fleet Contract exceed the carbon dioxide (CO
2
) limits set by State Fleet.
