(1)-(3) Dr Wally Cox retired from the Public Service on 13 July 2001. The selection process following advertisement of the position in August 2001 has been completed and the Minister for Public Sector Management has determined that an appointment to the position will not be made. Mr Keiran McNamara, who has acted in the position since 14 July 2001, has been advised that he will continue to act for a further 12 months beyond expiry of his current acting appointment on 13 April 2002.
