I refer to the voluntary buyback scheme for gunowners that closed on 31 August
2024.
(1) How many guns were surrendered
by the closure date?
(2) How much of the allocated $64.3 million
was spent on the scheme?
(3) Has consideration been given to
extend the program; and, if not, why not?
