Input is achieved through the normal cabinet processes and, when appropriate, through referral to the cabinet standing committee on regional policy. In addition, input into government agency decisions at a regional level is achieved through interagency consultation. Of course, I also receive advice from local governments and regional councils. I take that information into account.
