I refer to the recent selection of Matilda Bay as the location for a new ferry terminal as part of the METRONET Swan Ferry Service Expansion, and seek further information concerning the operational requirements and scheduling of ferry services under the proposed expansion, and I ask : (a) Did the Business Case for the Stage 1 Ferry Expansion require time schedules between each of the locations: (i) If so, what was the required trip time for each schedule?

(a) Ferries are set to operate daily between 6:30am and 11:30pm, except when cancelled for special events on the Swan River, or other operational reasons.
Ferry travel times between Applecross and Matilda Bay, and Matilda Bay and Elizabeth Quay are expected to be around 15 minutes.
The timetable set for the new ferry service will be based on what is achievable, and timetable adherence will be managed consistent with existing contractual arrangements for PTA’s current ferry service.
