was the last time the advisory committee made a recommendation to the Minister

the Minister table the most recent correspondence from the advisory committee; (c) what
other groups have been providing advice to the Minister or his department
regarding the use of vehicles in off-road areas: (i) what
was their advice or recommendations; and (d) when
will the Minister make a decision on the composition of a new advisory

(a) The Off-road Vehicles Advisory Committee’s primary functions under section 17 and 18 of the Control of Vehicles (Off-road areas) Act 1978 are to consider and investigate submissions from the public and local governments in relation to the use of land by off-road vehicles and to make recommendations to the Minister on these. As no submissions have been received, the committee has not been required to meet.
(b) I am advised that the last time the advisory committee made a recommendation was to the former Minister in June 2011.
(i) I have not received any correspondence from the advisory committee.

(d) The advisory committee is still in place and members’ terms are not due to expire until 30 June 2019.
