(2) Police advised that WA Police will have the option to use the services of SAIWA security providers in times of emergencies/disaster situations that require a prolonged response and consequence management. (3) Police advised the security officers would perform a support function by providing services of the type supplied by security companies in the normal course of business under the Security & Related Activities (Control) Act 1996 .
