I refer to working with children
checks, the requisite ticket to enable people to work in our schools.
(1) Can the
minister please detail the process that follows after a complaint by a student
is made against a working with children check holder employed in a school?
(2) Is the minister aware of any
occasions on which this process has broken down?

the report is made to the Department of Education and it is related to an
alleged offence, the department will then report it to the appropriate
authority, which is the police. Maybe the member's question should be directed
to the Minister for Police in regard to allegations of offences.
