some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided on behalf
of the Minister for Police.
(1) A total of 24.
(2) As at 31 May 2023, there were 6 865 police
officers by headcount in Western Australia. There are 457 more officers today than there were on 28 February 2017
at the time the McGowan–Cook government took office.
