(a) The figure of 87.6 percent quoted for the 2010 WA Country Health Service (WACHS) length of stay of four (4) hours or less did not include data for Port Hedland Hospital before it was closed and replaced by the new Hedland Health Campus in November 2010. Including this data provides a National Emergency Access Target (NEAT) figure of 88.1 percent for 2010.
(b) Not applicable.
(c) NEAT Percentage of Emergency Department Attendances at Bunbury Hospital with a Length of Stay of 4 hours or less.

76.5%
74.3%
Note:  NEAT replaced the '4 hour rule' program in 2012.  It is the measure of the percentage of patients with an emergency department length of stay/episode of four hours or less.
