VACCINE SAFETY SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM ANNUAL REPORT
781. Hon JAMES HAYWARD to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the answer provided on 8
August 2023 in relation to the WA Vaccine Safety Surveillance System annual
report for 2022.
(1) What is the
rationale for performing a significant review and data cleaning with respect to
adverse events following the vaccinations in 2022 that were reported by the WA
community?
(2) What is the raw number of
adverse event reports in 2022 that are being reviewed and sanitised?
(3) If the
minister is not prepared to provide an answer to (2), is this because the raw
unsanitised number of reported adverse events in 2022 is too high?
(4) Can the
minister confirm that the raw data in question and related documents are
subject to freedom of information requests and the State Records Act?
