I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Federal Court has ruled invalid certain determinations made by the Commonwealth Attorney General under the Native Title Act 1993 relating to an alternative future Act scheme in Queensland. The decision will not have any affect on the issuing of mining licences or leases in Western Australia.
