(1) Yes.
(2) The Public Transport Authority will continue to work with its operators in regional towns to ensure that any planned changes to school bus routes are communicated to students well in advance of the proposed changes. This information will be provided via bulletins distributed onboard buses and through information packages delivered to schools.
(3) Yes.
(4)  Yes.
(5)  In the case of the Bunbury service change, it was found that passenger bulletins were distributed onboard the affected services and that schools were also advised of the proposed changes. The review also identified that some students had discarded their notices at the time of their distribution and not passed the information onto their parents. With regards to the Public Transport Authority's communication strategy for implementing changes to regional town school bus services, the review confirmed that the distribution of targeted passenger bulletins to students onboard affected bus services and advising the school administration of the service changes is the most effective communication strategy.
