107. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
minister representing the Minister for Water:
I refer to reports that the Water Corporation needs to build
two 80-million-litre tanks to supply Ellenbrook and
surrounds.
(1) Does the
Water Corporation have the required funding to build these tanks?
(2) If so,
when does the Water Corporation plan to build these tanks?

(1) Yes.
(2) The Water
Corporation plans to construct three new tanks at Ellenbrook over the next 50 years—tank 1 by 2017, tank 2 in 2034 and tank 3 in
2058.
