(a) Yes.
All contractors and consultants directly engaged by the Department of Finance have been paid for work completed and certified to date.
The contractor for the main construction works has provided all the necessary statutory declarations which state all its subcontractors and employees have been paid what is due and payable under the contract.
It should be noted the Department does not have complete oversight of all payments made along the supply chain on a construction project. The Department has made recent enquiries with its main contractor on any outstanding payments and has been advised there are none. Furthermore, there have been no recent complaints of non-payment lodged with the Department, and spot checks with subcontractors have not identified any current payment issues associated with this project.
(i) Not applicable.
