Formal consideration of this response has not yet commenced because other areas of higher priority are being considered. (2) The category of reserve and proposed zoning would be considered in the community and stakeholder consultation and planning process leading to the development of an indicative management plan. It is therefore premature to speculate on the type of reserve and the impacts on fishers. (3) Not applicable. (4) The Walpole and Nornalup estuaries were identified in the 1994 marine parks and reserves selection working group report as candidate areas worthy of consideration as marine conservation reserves under the Conservation and Land Management Act.
