The following information has been provided to me by the
Minister for Health —
(1) Assistance
is available to former, current and potential users of Midwest Men's
Health from a range of government, non-government and private providers in the
midwest. Agencies include, but are not limited to, WA Country Health Service's
midwest population health and mental health services, Aboriginal medical
services, Goldfields–Midwest Medicare Local, general practitioners,
Centacare, Midwest Yellow Ribbon for Life, private allied health workers and
charitable organisations. These services offer a range of programs such as
healthy lifestyle skills, Mental Health First Aid, suicide prevention
education, and tobacco control.
(2) The
majority of organisations are located in Geraldton and provide outreach
services within the midwest region.
