On 28 November 2003, Mr James Hopkinson, state director of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation (WA), placed a misleading public notice in The West Australian stating that Justice McClure had made an order that no senator from Queensland was permitted to call a meeting of the Western Australian One Nation division. Justice McClure’s associate has confirmed the misleading nature of that notice and that there is an issue about whether the advertisement constitutes a contempt of court. What action will the Attorney General take against this blatant disregard for the justice system of this State by a citizen who has misrepresented an order of the court? Hon NICK GRIFFITHS
