With reference to the management of the historic Ellensbrook precinct - (1) What progress has been made on the memorandum of understanding between the Department of Conservation and Land Management, the National Trust of Australia (WA) and the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River over future management? I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) I am informed that significant progress has been made towards a memorandum of understanding between the Department of Conservation and Land Management, the National Trust of Australia (WA) and the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River for the management of the historic Ellensbrook precinct.  The partners in the proposed memorandum of understanding are considering some remaining detailed management questions and a mutually satisfactory outcome is expected. (2) I am advised that it is likely that the memorandum of understanding will be signed this financial year.
