For each department, agency and Government Trading Enterprise within the Minister's portfolio of responsibilities, I ask: (a) how many staff grievances have been lodged for financial years 2013-14; 2014-15 and 2015-16; (b) how many of those grievances are outstanding as at 30 June 2016; (c) how many of those grievances are resolved as at 30 June 2016; and (d) for those grievances resolved: (i) how many were dismissed; (ii) how many were upheld; and (iii) how many were partly upheld?

The following answers relate to grievances formally lodged by employees and investigated pursuant to the Public Sector Standard on Grievance Resolution issued by the Public Sector Commissioner
DEPARTMENT OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
(a)                   Since 2013-14 five grievances have been raised:
(b)                   As at 30 June 2016 the three grievances raised in 2015-16 remain outstanding.
(c)                    Two grievances are resolved as at 30 June 2016, being the grievances raised in 2013-14 and 2014-15
(d)       (i)         One was dismissed
(ii)        One was upheld
(iii)       None were partly upheld
DEPARTMENT OF LANDS
The Department of Lands resumed HR functions from DRD in June 2015, so figures below for previous years were provided by DRD as follows:
(a)                   Grievances lodged;
(b)                   Grievances outstanding as at 30 June 2016 = 0
(c)                    All grievances have been resolved for 2015/16
(d)       (i)         All were dismissed due to lack of evidence or resolved through mediation
