(1) There is no delay in relation to the Utah Point Berth Project in Port Hedland. The proponent provided additional advice required by the Environmental Protection Authority on the 10 November 2008 and the EPA released its report on 12 January 2009. The Minister for Environment is now consulting on the proposal with relevant decision making authorities prior to issuing the Ministerial Statement, in accordance with the
Environmental Protection Act
. Comments from the decision making authorities are due back in early March 2009.
