I refer to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in 2016, and I ask: (a) have any changes recently occurred in the operation of CAMHS Services and, if yes, what are the details of the changes; (b) have any changes recently been made to the funding of CAMHS Services and, if yes, what are the details; (c) have any changes been made to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health phone line; and (d) if yes to (c), what are the details of the changes and what is the value of savings to be made as a result of the operational changes?

(a) Services purchased by the Mental Health Commission are continuously monitored and evaluated to ensure clinical best practice and efficient delivery.
Consistent with this approach, a number of service improvements have been rolled out in 2016, including:
(b) Yes, total funding from the Mental Health Commission (MHC) to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services has increased by over $2.1 million (approximately 4 per cent) between 2015/16 and 2016/17.
This funding increase is provided by the MHC through an annual service agreement which includes public hospital inpatient services, non-admitted community services and funding for teaching, training and research. (c) No. (d) Not applicable.
