(1) I refer to the
Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Regulations 1997
and ask, for each of the past three years, how many exemptions have been granted to allow caravans, tiny homes, pod-homes, or similar to remain on private property for a length of time greater than three months?
(2) What guidelines, policies or protocols does the Minister take into account when considering these exemptions, and please table any relevant information?
(3) Has the Minister for Emergency Services made any representation to the Minister regarding the need to update regulations to exempt temporary accommodation following a natural disaster, such as the caravans supplied by the Government following Cyclone Seroja?
(4) If yes to (3), will the Minister please table any correspondence?
