During the debate on the liberalisation of the cannabis laws, I raised police concerns that the lengthy process of unresolved infringement notices would lead to an unmanageable quantity of drugs requiring storage. (1) Has the Police Service experienced any problems with the storage of drugs? (2) Approximately what quantity of cannabis is currently being stored pending resolution of infringement notices? (3) In how many locations are these drugs being stored and what is the nature of these locations? (4) Does the Police Service have concerns about the security of any of those locations or the quantity of drugs it is required to store? Hon JON FORD
