I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)-(3) Since becoming the Minister for Mines and Petroleum I have met and been in contact with many companies from the resources sector that have raised with me a range of issues, including the world economic downturn and the tardiness of the previous state government’s approvals processes. In the time available it is not possible to compile a definitive list of these companies. However, if the member wishes to place this question on notice, I will endeavour to provide that information. I have not offered any direct or monetary assistance to any company.
