The Minister Replied:
(1) No.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The Department of Minerals and Energy has not given its clearance to the proposal, and discussions are continuing between CALM and Main Roads Western Australia about the proposed widening of the South-West Highway in the vicinity of the reserves. With regard to reserve 31900, CALM is discussing with the Shire of Harvey and mining interests the proposal that the reserve should be vested in the National Parks and Nature Conservation Authority once mining in the reserve is completed and rehabilitation has been carried out.
